Hampton Court Kitchen Garden

In 2019 the team at number eleven were commissioned by English Heritage to create designs for two new exhibitions at Apsley House, former home of the Duke of Wellington.

Hampton Court Gardens original kitchen gardens, which were the main source of fruit and vegetables to the Royal Household, was turned into a flower garden in 1925. In 2014 Hampton Court Palace reconfigured them to their original state and needed signage graphics to explain the garden, built by King William and Queen Mary in 1689, and the changes to visitors.

Production methods

As well as creating the graphics, number eleven advised on materials and production methods. The panel were made from lime wood with a hand-carved border.
