Number Eleven is a partnership specialising in design for museums, galleries and exhibitions. Recently formed as a formal partnership, the three partners have a collective experience of over 80 years in the museum design and publishing industry. Our scope includes the design of permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions; as well as many other aspects of the museum environment such as way finding strategies, the detail design of signage and assisting museums at a strategic level. Our design for print has included publicity for exhibitions, galleries and events, together with annual reports and books. The audience is our focus and we care about detail.
Geoff began his career in architecture and has since had more than 30 years experience of designing galleries, temporary exhibitions and facilities for museums, lately as Principal Designer at the British Museum until 2013.
Mash has over 14 years experience working in museums around the world, including; the Shanghai Museum, the Prince of Wales Museum in Mumbai, the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington DC, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and he worked as a Graphic Designer at the British Museum for four years. Mash specialises in graphic design, concept and illustration for museums, advertising, branding, publishing and general design for print.
Kirsti has 19 years industry experience in exhibition design, signage and way-finding and design for print. She has worked in a freelance capacity for the past 9 years. Previous clients include Imperial War Museum, Churchill Museum, HMS Belfast, Cabinet War Rooms, British Museum, National Gallery, Royal Academy, Horniman Museum, WorkingMums.co.uk
